It has been used for thousands of years in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan & Vietnam, and over 300 years in Europe. Acupuncture is one of the most commonly accepted complementary therapies in the West- Australia, many European countries, the USA etc.
Acupuncture involves the insertion of pre-sterilized thin solid needles into specific points on the body to improve health and treat illness, and is suitable for almost every health condition, either on its own or in conjunction with usual care.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends Acupuncture as an effective treatment for over 40 medical problems, including allergies, respiratory conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, gynaecological problems, nervous conditions, disorders of the eyes, nose and throat, and childhood illnesses etc.
Congratulations to Master Yang, Sam & Andy on being awarded Gold medals at the 2014 Australian Open Taekwondo Pumsae Competition and representing Australia at the WTF World Taekwondo Championship in Mexico in Oct 2014.
